Rabbit had no idea the meaning of Backson so he goes to the Owl and asks about it. However, the author describes about Backson as being busy man who avoids the calmness. The author gives many examples who are like Backson and says "The Bisy Backson is always On The Run, it seems, always". Also compares with Chuang-tse who dislikes to see his own footprints and his shadow and runs away. The author also describes the Bisy Backsons as the people who are alwaysdesperate to be active. To directly quote hisstatement, Hoff states, "The Bisy Backson is almost desperately active."
The author actually mentions different types of Bisy Backsons: one who is athletic and ability of physical fitnesses. These kind of people think that physical fitness is being forced to have rather than
create by themselves. Athletic Backsons often confuse with the work with every single activities. For example, exercising, playing, and etc. The characteristics of Bisy Backson actually represents the opposite aspects of being healthy, relaxed, and happy. They never tend to walk for relaxation nor contentment, but only to spend time rapidly.

After explaining shortly about the Bisy Backsons, the author corrects the note:

GONE OUT
BACK SOON
BUSY
BACK SOON

Bisy Backsons' lives can never satisfy nor make themselves happy because they do not appreciate the environments around them. They seems too busy to think about the values of things around them. Instead of being happy and satisfied, they actually blame the world because they always search of the rewards no matter what it is. Therefore, the author gives an example of the Rabbit's life style how he continuously try to reach for the Great Reward which is far away for his capability of reaching the Reward; even if requires to reach the star or moon. However, the author mentions that the real rewards are "Happy and Good", not something that one can be able to achieve with physical activities

Then, Pooh enjoys listening to the birds singings and little sounds of squirrel and thinks that it is a such a nice day. Unlike Bisy Backsons, Pooh wants to learn things by nature and enjoy his life not like educated by listening to the terrible events on the radio. By using some examples of life style between Puritan and Pooh, the author shows the different aspects and values depending on each others' lives.

At last, the author mentions how people should take some time to enjoy the surroundings and appreciate being alive unlike the Bisy Backsons. "Bisy Backsons is a tremendous waste of time", states the author

3. What are the faults of being a Bisy Backson?
4. From the passage, what does the author seem to suggest individuals should do to avoid being a Bisy Backson.

Thematic Analysis:
The most important aspects that one should consider as reading is that Backsons represent those people who avoid trees and grass that can actually make them calm and safe. Also, one should keep in mind that Backsons are desperate of being active whatever they are doing. The great lesson and the theme of this chapter is that we should actually take some time to enjoy what we are given in lives and enj
oy the environments by appreciating them.

So the general idea focuses around the concept of being a Bisy Backson. So. What is a Bisy Backson? Well these are individuals who prefer to take the hard road rather than the easy road. As a result, they unnecessarily place themselves into difficult situations. For example, while they could walk leisurely to their destination they would rather run to it and as a result tire themselves out. The author points out how the Bisy Backsons of this are morivated from the outside rather than the inside.

Take for example this passage from Tao of Pooh:

"There was a man who disliked seeing his footprints and his shadow. He decided to escape from them, and began to run. But as he ran along, more foot- prints appeared, while his shadow easily kept up with him. Thinking he was going too slowly, he ran faster and faster without stopping, until he finally collapsed from exhaustion and died.
If he had stood still, there would have been no footprints. If he had rested in the shade, his shadow would have disappeared."

The point that the author makes here is that it would have been so much easier for the man to take his situation into account and not walk to not reveal the footprints. However, the man just runs faster and faster until he drops death from exhaustion. This very example shows us the Bisy Backson of our world.
